At Key 2 Build, we’re more than just contractors and construction managers — we’re trusted partners who create spaces designed to last a lifetime. Founded in 2016 by Corey Key Sr., our family-owned company has built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, transparent communication, and respect for each client’s vision in several commercial and residential sectors. We have successfully completed projects for some of the areas biggest Developers and Institutions in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
In 2024, we significantly expanded our capabilities by acquiring Shenberger Contracting, a well-known specialist in siding, roofing, stucco, plastering, and exterior renovations based in Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware counties, Pennsylvania. Serving homeowners for over 30 years, Shenberger Contracting has successfully completed thousands of remediation and installation projects involving stucco, James Hardie siding, vinyl siding, plastering (including Venetian plaster), interior & exterior painting, carpentry, and stone work.

COREY KEY
FOUNDER & CEO
Corey Key Sr. brings over 13 years of hands-on construction experience to Key 2 Build, backed by a track record of delivering high-quality work across both residential and commercial markets. Before founding Key 2 Build in 2016, Corey built his reputation from the ground up — working as a project manager and project executive for leading general contractors in the region.
Throughout his career, Corey has successfully overseen a wide range of commercial projects, including, healthcare, retail build-outs, tenant improvements, higher education facilities, community centers, and office renovations. His portfolio includes Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill NJ, CHOP PAOB in Philadelphia, Youth Build Philadelphia, TJU Gibbon Building Upgrades in Philadelphia, SAP Data Center Upgrades in Newtown Square PA, and many many more totally more than 500M in successfully managed projects.
This depth of experience gives Corey the unique ability to navigate complex projects, coordinate diverse teams, and solve challenges on site — all while maintaining budgets, timelines, and client trust. His leadership style is rooted in the belief that every build, no matter the size, deserves the same level of care, integrity, and commitment to quality.
